Exactly how I felt today.

WoW, what a day! Congratulations to every one of you for a fantastic 2007 Marathon.

Now is a great time to think about the events of the day and take a moment to reflect on what we did well, and what we can do to make it even better next year. Despite all the changes and challenges of the day, including major course changes and warmer than ideal temperatures for runners, we had a very successful event. While things are still fresh in your mind please take a moment, if you haven't already, to jot down your thoughts, impressions, concerns and comments. I'll get them posted on our web site and let you know so you can read the comments from other operators. If you take a look at 2005 and 2006 you will get an idea of what has been shared in the past. I do reserve the right to keep some comments to myself and will make corrections to spelling or grammar as needed. I'm mostly interested in what could be improved, missing personnel or equipment and anything you believe WE could think about changing to make things easier, better or more efficient. I will also pass on suggestions that are appropriate for the Marathon staff so they can consider them in the future. I also reserve the right to edit for duplication or as needed to prevent anyone from being personally identified, unless of course it's glowing praise, which there always is. You all collectively and individually did a great job. I would really like to get your feedback by the end of this week if possible, while it's still fresh. I'll also be posting pictures soon, so if you have any you want to share, now is the time.

I hope the experience was enjoyable for all the "newbies", and you join us again next year, and for years to come. I hope you all have a great summer, and will be looking for you next March, or sooner if I can get some of you interested in Las Vegas. More to come later.

On behalf of the Marathon and all the staff, a hearty THANK YOU to all.

All the best,

Greg - KD6AIS
